The farmers market is a community gathering place - a place to meet up with your friends, bring your children, or just get a taste of small-town life. A regular trip to a farmers market is one of the best ways to reconnect with where your food comes from. Farmers themselves sell their produce at the stalls. Meeting and talking to farmers is a great opportunity to learn more about how food is grown, when it is grown, and why! You can't go wrong when purchasing locally grown/baked breads, honey, nuts, eggs, along with fresh fruit & veggies
The Colusa Certified Farmers Market adheres to many regulations and policies that not only our vendors, but our customers must abide by. Although we are located in a public park, dogs and smoking is restricted by the operating area of the market. Also, the Market does not set or regulate prices on the various products.
Fresh cut crimini, white, and portabella mushrooms are sold to benefit non-profit organizations throughout Colusa County. 100% of the proceeds is deposited into the Premier Mushroom Grant Program. If you are interested in applying for the grant, please contact the Market Manager.
Premier Mushrooms is located in Colusa and sells mushrooms year-round.
Rosita Ranch is located in Stonyford. They are a registered egg handler which sells fresh cage-free eggs throughout Colusa County and surrounding areas year-round.
